Exciting news

I have some exciting news.

I'm happy to say I'm now on the Design Team for Scrap the Girls.

Scrap the Girls March challenge.

Happy Easter long weekend.

I've decided to do some scrapbooking today as my hubby took my youngest fishing.

This layout I'm sharing is for Scrap the Girls March challenge.

This month they have a great sketch to go by.

I've used the beautiful Finders keepers collection that I won from Kaisercraft and another Formal photo of my oldest daughter.

I hope the photo quality is ok only using my phone as I need a new lens for my camera as I broke it when we were moving house so need to get a new one asap.

February Scrap the girls challenge

Morning everyone. I'm up bright and early to share a layout I have created for this months Scrap the girls challenge blog.

This month there challenge is a beautiful gold inspired mood board.

And here is my layout I have created. 

At the moment I'm scrapping a lot of my daughter's formal photos and when I saw the gold I thought I can use one of her black and white photos.

I'm really happy how it turned out.

January Scrap the girls.

Hello again, it's so good to be scrapping again.

Today I'm sharing a layout I have created for Scrap the Girls January challenge.

This month you could either use there sketch or create whatever you like.

I've sorted gone with the sketch but turned it on it's side.

Here's the sketch

and here is my page. 

I've used a photo of my eldest daughter's photo shot from her gr 12 formal last year.

I've used twinkling H2Os in African Jade on the background that I got from the Brisbane expo last year and some whipped spackle, a stencil, a bit of  Kaiser crafts Blue Bay collection, a D-Lish flair,  flowers and bag and gold foam thickers and some Heidi colour shine.

I'm really really happy with how it turned out.

September Scrap the Girls challenge

Hope everyone is enjoying there day.

Here in Queensland we are on school holidays and we're not going anywhere these holidays as my hubby is really busy with work.

Anyway today I have a share for Scrap the Girls September challenges. This month they have a beautiful sketch and here it is.

 And here is my take on the sketch.

This is my oldest daughter at the beginning of Grade 9 and I can't believe in just under 8 weeks she Graduates High school. So we have been busy booking hair, makeup, a photographer, her arrival car and ordering her beautiful dress.

I've used the Kaiser craft Blue Bay collection I absolutely love the collection its one of my favourites.

Wow I have had such a busy month with flying down to Brisbane for the Scrapbook and paper craft expo, getting sick when I got home and so much going on with the girls schools.

This is my youngest daughter a few years ago, I was trying out my camera when I first got it.

I have used the Enchanted Garden collection from Kaiser craft.

Some D-Lish Scraps flowers and a doily chippy from Imaginarium Designs.

Scrap the Girls October

I'm back today to share a page I have completed for Scrap the Girls October challenge. The colours in this mood board are just gorgeous and I thought of one photo I wanted to scrap that would be perfect.

Here is my take. I took this photo on my daughter on her 8th Birthday last month.

Scrap the girls November!!

Can you believe how fast this month has gone, it will be Summer in three days and the count down to Christmas OMG. Anyway I have another LO to share this one is for Scrap the girls. This months challenge is a colour one teal orange and white, I wasn't to sure about it at first so I had a look in my stash and found these papers from Grace Taylor and then needed to find a photo to go with them, then I remember this photo, my youngest daughter's togs would match perfectly and this is my finished page, I really like it.

 Lets see if I can get a couple more LOs done before the end of the month. I really have my mojo back and don't want to lose it again LOL.

Scrap the girls

Back again, only got to finished 1 layout this weekend. We decided to go to the pool yesterday, it was so refreshing and cool.
Anyway this one is for Scrap the Girls and this month is a recipe challenge.
The recipe is: Flowers, Two Different Alphas, More than one photo and staples. And this is what I came up with.

 

 

My youngest had under 8's at school back in May and the theme was Farmer. All the kids got dressed up as farmers it was so cute. They had little lambs there and when it was Maddy's turn to hold one the lamb nibbled her on the ear all she could do was giggle.
