Can you believe how fast this month has gone, it will be Summer in three days and the count down to Christmas OMG. Anyway I have another LO to share this one is for Scrap the girls. This months challenge is a colour one teal orange and white, I wasn't to sure about it at first so I had a look in my stash and found these papers from Grace Taylor and then needed to find a photo to go with them, then I remember this photo, my youngest daughter's togs would match perfectly and this is my finished page, I really like it.
Lets see if I can get a couple more LOs done before the end of the month. I really have my mojo back and don't want to lose it again LOL.
Catch you soon. :-)
What a weekend. On Saturday a local Scrapbook store had a Christmas card workshop, we made 15 cards each, I had a good day never been to anything like that before. I'm looking forward to another workshop. Also I had my birthday on sunday another year older lol. Anyway I just finished my layout for Purple pumpkin October challenge. This is the sketch you had to use.
And this is my take on the sketch. I used two Purple Pumpkin buttons, they are so cute
Now lets see if I can get another layout done tonight before the end of the month lol.
Catch you later.
Back again, only got to finished 1 layout this weekend. We decided to go to the pool yesterday, it was so refreshing and cool.
Anyway this one is for Scrap the Girls and this month is a recipe challenge.
The recipe is: Flowers, Two Different Alphas, More than one photo and staples. And this is what I came up with.
My youngest had under 8's at school back in May and the theme was Farmer. All the kids got dressed up as farmers it was so cute. They had little lambs there and when it was Maddy's turn to hold one the lamb nibbled her on the ear all she could do was giggle.
Anyway catch you later.
Hi all, this week has gone so fast, I guess that is due to alot happening here. Swimming started this term and my girls started horse riding which they love. Well today I have a layout to share for White with 1. This months challenge is to use WHITE, YELLOW AND STARS.
I love this photo of my youngest, it was her first sports day. Don't you just love the star Sunny's lol.
Well I hope you all have a great weekend hopefully I get some more scrapping done as I'm staying home all weekend, hubby's harvesting so long days and nights, at least he gets Sundays off.
Catch you later.
I can't believe its been over a month since I last posted, I've been bad. I haven't even done any challenges and missed putting my baby girls birthday photos on here which was the 4th of September. Well I have a whole month to catch up on I hope I don't bore you to much lol.
So my baby girl Maddy turned 6 on the 4th of September, she had her first party with preppy friends at the park the Saturday before her birthday.
And on her birthday we just had birthday cake at home.
So the school holidays started last week here in Queensland and we went camping at Yeppoon. Its great to see the beach again. Living 350kms west of the coast you do miss it. We had a great time.
And also I got my Sizzix Big shot too. Can't wait to use it, so I'm off to do some Scrapbooking as I haven't done any for awhile. Catch you later.
Well my first post for the month, haven't had much time to scrap or sew. We had to do a trip to Maryborough for my sister's 21st and then my 2 youngest girls have been sick so I sneaked in one page. This one is for Black with 2, this months challenge was Black with pink and teal.
Going to try and do some scrapbooking tonight. Catch you later :)
Back again. As my day looked like this yet again lol.
I decided to do some more scrapping. This layout is for Scrap the girls July challenge, BLACK, WHITE AND ONE OTHER COLOUR I pick yellow for my other colour. I love this paper from Bo Bunny and I also used my new stamp from kaiser craft for my tag.
Being another miserable day here I thought I would do some scrapbooking. This one is for White with 1, this months challenge is White, polka dots and tape, as I'm probably the only one with out washi tape I just used normal tape I had at home you can just see it under my pink bling.
Had a busy day yesterday and had to go to bed early last night as we had to do a quick trip to Rocky. 4 hour drive, waited 1 hour at doctors and all for a 10 minute appointment anyway at least I got to go to Spotlight. So here is day 11 and 12.
Day 11: Door.
Day 10: Best bit of my weekend.
We've had quite a good weekend, done some yard work and got our frame up for our chook house, so we can go get our girls soon. They have been staying with my mum since we moved, I miss them.
But I think the best bit was our dessert tonight it was delish, so yummy Choc a block layered self saucing pudding with caramel in the middle yummy. A yummy warm dessert to warm you up.
Now I need to go for a big walk tomorrow to burn it off lol.
Hope your having a great weekend.
As I only just found this, this afternoon I used a photo
from the other morning when it was fine and not raining outside like today is,
but this is what I see every morning when I wake up and go outside.
Morning, yesterday we went to our local show it was not a good day for it. It had been raining here for most of the night and during the day, it was cold, wet and muddy lol, but we still went. I decided to enter some of my photos only put in 10 and got some good results too. Didn't have time to put my scrapbooking in but differently will next year and more photos.
Here is the photo that I got a First place (portrait).
I got a second place (child/child at play) for this one.
and a Highly commended for this one in (other photos).
I've started early this month, I'm hoping I can get a few challenges done. Anyway this one is for Scrap the girls May Challenge, this month is to use a quote "Having a sister is like having a best friend you can't get rid of. You know whatever you do, they'll still be there." Amy Li
