Christmas Cooking

Hi all how was your weekend. My girls and I did some Christmas cooking, it was good weather for it raining outside yet again. But today looks like its going to be a beautiful day. We made Christmas cookies, Mini Christmas puddings, Gingerbread men, and Choc-mint trees. I have so much more I want to make.

Choc-Mint Trees I also made a journal cover for an art book. First time I made one too, it turned out good. I might make more for Christmas gifts. Hi, well everything went well yesterday with my hubby's surgery. He was in a little long then I expected, I hated waiting it was the longest 4 hours of my life. I decided to stay in town as it was raining and dark out and didn't want to take the chance of driving home that late.
Any way the other day I took some photos of some flowers I picked out of my garden they are so pretty.

I also started making some yo yo flowers for a headband I'm making for my youngest Maddy, this is the first time I have made them.

Today is the day

Hi all, Well today is the day my husband goes into hospital for a knee reconstruction I’m abit nervous, and so is he but I know everything will be fine. What a day to drive 80k’s into Toowoomba, its wet and cold. It’s a day for staying at home for cooking or sewing or even crafting lol. Anyway better go and get ready to leave. Will catch you later.

Working in my Vegy garden

Hi again, Yesterday afternoon I did some work in my vegy garden, transplanting seedling, weeding and watering. Its starting to look pretty good our corn is growning really well. Everything seems to double in size overnight. We've got growning Corn, Lettuce, Roma Tomatoes, Red cabbage, Cabbage, Broccoli and Green beans. I need to dig up more ground to plant anything else lol.

I've got so much I want to do today I really should make a list lol. Catch you later.

Life on the farm

Well today started out very interesting. One of the water pipes that goes down to the shed sprung a leak a big one at that, and we had not very much water pressure in the house so we kinda fixed that only what we could by hand, now no water is going down to the chemical shed to fill the spray rig up, but that's alright because we've had rain so they can't get on the ground anyway.

I've been taking some more photos of my girls.

Hi all its been a long time since I’ve posted, haven’t had much spare time to blog lately let alone scrapbook or sew or even do some cooking, as my husband hurt his knee at work pretty bad.

Our Camping trip

Hi all, I've been MIA lol, well myself and my girls have all been camping with my mum and sisters and family for the past week we had a ball. We camped at a place called Neurum Creek Bush Retreat it sits at the bottom of a mountain and its dog friendly but we didn't take our dog I had hubby and my son home looking after our pets. Anyway its not that far from the coast so we even got the chance to go to the sunshine coast I haven't seen the ocean for about 7 months I was so excited when I saw it lol. So here are some photos of our camping trip.

A Birthday, Father's Day and our trip to Australia Zoo

Hi all how was your weekend, mine was very busy. Saturday shopping in Toowoomba and Sunday my Baby turned 5 and don't forget Father's day, so we decided to take her to Australia Zoo for the day it was a big surprise for her she didn't know we were going. As we pulled up the look on her face showed it all.

Hi all how was your weekend. Well I finally got to use my camera took some nice photos of my girls yesterday and the weather was just beautiful, you can tell spring is almost here.

Finally got my camera

Hi all, Finally received my new camera on Tuesday but silly me forgot to buy a card for it while in town Monday. So finally got one yesterday and it decided to rain today not happy, was going to take some photos of the girls outside haven't taken any for awhile. But did take a couple last night of Maddison.



Was also going to go into town today to look at the markets, but I don't think they will be on now, so that means a day of craft I think, would like to do a couple of more challenges as its almost the end of the month. Any way better get to it catch you later.

New Camera

Hi all, hope everyone is having a great week. Well I'm super excited today as I ordered my camera this morning now I have to wait till it arrives. I finally got my dream camera just can't wait to use it. I will definitely be taking alot of photos and reading alot about it as it is a Canon EOS kissx4 550D. Well till next time, catch ya later.

Another weekend gone.

Hi all how was your weekend, ours was quiet stayed home all weekend, Hubby had to work yesterday so I did manage to do some craft didn't do any scrapbooking but. I made 2 head bands for my little chook (Maddison). I'm also starting to work out what I'm going to make her for spring and summer if I start now then she might be able to wear them by then lol. Hi again, just a quick post with another layout, this one is for Let's get shabby, The inspiration for this challenge is this photo and also as it is their 2ND Birthday you need to use the NUMBER 2 on your project and use two things from this list: lace, Chipboard, Ribbon, Material/Fabric, Book/Music page.



I used Lace and Ribbon, I made a ribbon flower under my clock sticker.
